WE ARE LOOKING FOR A SPECIFIC TYPE OF PERSON

This is the role that keeps Reformer running. Not just the client sites — the whole platform underneath them. The integrations. The automations. The internal tools. Gary. Reformer Intelligence. The Webflow + Supabase + Cloudflare stack that makes us able to punch above our weight.

We're looking for a junior developer with range — someone who can write clean code, but who also understands that code is a tool for solving business problems, not the product itself. Someone who wants to build the thing, explain the thing, and iterate on the thing based on what actually happens when clients use it.

We don't care if you went to a CS program or taught yourself in your bedroom. We care if you ship, if you can explain your choices, and if you can learn fast when something's on fire.

WHAT YOU'D ACTUALLY DO

- Build and maintain internal tools (Gary, Reformer Intelligence, client dashboards)

- Write custom code for client Webflow sites — integrations, embeds, interactions

- Build automations that eliminate manual work (Zapier, n8n, or custom)

- Integrate third-party services — Supabase, Stripe, Claude API, Twilio, Resend

- Manage infrastructure — Cloudflare, Render, Supabase, GitHub

- Work with the team to turn client needs into technical specs and back

- Document what you build so the next person (or your future self) can use it

- Talk to clients sometimes — explaining what a tool does, what it found, what to do next

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

- Shipping instinct — you'd rather ship something imperfect and iterate than plan forever

- Range — comfortable in frontend, backend, API integrations, or willing to get there

- Business thinking — you don't just build features, you ask why

- Communication — you can explain a technical decision to a non-technical person

- Curiosity — you learn new tools because you want to, not because someone made you

- Ownership — when something breaks, you don't wait to be told to fix it

NICE TO HAVE (NOT REQUIRED)

Next.js, TypeScript, Supabase, Cloudflare Workers, Webflow custom code, Claude API or similar LLM APIs, Zapier/n8n, GitHub experience

WHAT YOU WON'T NEED

A CS degree. A FAANG internship. Ten open-source contributions to frameworks nobody uses.

We don't want your resume. Here's why →

Instead, we want to see you build something. Here's the brief — and it's intentionally incomplete:

"We want a way to check whether a client's website shows up when someone asks an AI tool (Claude, ChatGPT, Perplexity) a question their ideal customer might ask."

That's the whole brief. Build something — anything — that takes a first crack at it. Script, notebook, small app, whatever. Use whatever stack makes sense (we lean Next.js + Supabase + Claude API, but surprise us).

Then — and this is the second half — write a short note to a hypothetical client explaining what the tool does, what it found for their business, and what you'd recommend they do about it. You're a developer who has to talk to real people. We want to see both halves.

Send us:

1. A link to the code and the results (GitHub, wherever).
2. A short README: what you built, what you didn't build, what you'd ask us before building more.
3. The client-facing note.
4. The questions you'd have asked us if you could have.
5. A short video walkthrough/pitch (5 min or less) — walk us through what you built: the approach, the trade-offs, the parts you'd change with more time. Loom or similar works great. Send a link, not a file.

Keep the effort to 2-3 hours. The questions you'd ask matter as much as what you built.
