What did we do?
Designed a simple and user-friendly platform using a PHP application running on a LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) that followed the existing handwritten book system, allowing for easy adoption. Implemented to run on a local server connected via intranet to other computers, avoiding problems from constant internet and power outages. Trained all stakeholders so BPM could use the tool efficiently. Reports and logs were implemented to track new and resolved cases.

What did we take away from this experience?
Designing for the operating environment — including its constraints — matters more than designing for an idealized version of the user.
