What did we do?
Built a dedicated team centered around LegalShield's specific needs, creating efficiencies of scale that let the team tackle additional projects within the existing budget. Early days custom AI bot technology and mobile apps to scale a legal services brand under budget pressure.
Technology
Managed five Drupal-based websites and completed UX, design, and development work for additional digital products. Built Ask — a custom AI bot named Emily — to handle the high volume of incoming customer questions. Built Shake into a mobile app and trained Emily on all the Shake Legal Documents. Added Group Enrollment services under the LegalShield umbrella.
What did we take away from this experience?
Having the right team size and using AI to scale productivity can really transform customer service from being a cost burden to a valuable asset.
